• **THIS SATURDAY, JULY 10TH** **SIGN-UP BEFORE 8PM THURSDAY** Please join 15-20 children from Columbia Heights and Petworth for an Environmental Education Boat Trip on the Anacostia and Potomac Rivers. Inner City Outings is teaming up with Living Classrooms to participate in the Shipboard Program (http://livingclassroomsdc.org/shipboard_program.html) in which kids will board "The Half Shell" and participate in hands-on activities designed to be both fun and educational. New volunteers must contact Kris Unger at 703-527-2457 before the trip for a background check. For this trip, please bring CLOSED-TOE SHOES. We will provide lunch. Lastly, please remember this is a fun experience for the children and volunteers. We do ask both child and volunteer to respect themselves and each other.
